These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and your purchase of products from Kalpana Tailors, a proprietorship based in Seshadripuram, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. Who We Serve

Kalpana Tailors supplies uniforms, workwear, and custom-branded apparel to businesses and organisations ordering in volume. Orders are subject to a minimum of 20 items per cart, which may be mixed across sizes, colours, and styles. We may decline orders that fall outside our business focus.

2. Orders and Order Acceptance

Placing an order on the website does not create a binding contract. When you place an order, no payment is taken and the order enters a review status. We review the order details and any customization, then issue an invoice based on your shipping address. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order and you complete payment against that invoice.

We reserve the right to review, accept, decline, or cancel any order before payment — for example, where artwork cannot be reproduced to an acceptable standard, where details are incomplete, or where we are unable to fulfil the request.

3. Pricing and Quotes

Prices shown on the website are indicative and may change. The final price, including any applicable shipping and taxes, is confirmed on the invoice we issue for your order. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them.

4. Payment

Payment is made against the invoice we send, via a secure payment link. We accept payments through Cashfree, Paytm, and Stripe, depending on your location and order. We do not begin production until payment is received in full. Further detail is on our Payment Policy page.

5. Custom Products, Artwork & Intellectual Property

Most of what we produce is custom-made to your specifications, including printed or embroidered logos and artwork that you supply.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all order details and artwork. Where we provide a proof or sample, production proceeds on the basis of what you approve.
  • You confirm and warrant that you own, or are licensed to use, all logos, trademarks, designs, text, and other artwork you supply, and that their use and reproduction by us does not infringe the rights of any third party.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold Kalpana Tailors harmless against any claims, losses, damages, or costs arising from artwork or materials you supply, including any claim that they infringe a third party's intellectual property or other rights.
  • We may decline to produce any artwork we reasonably believe to be unlawful, infringing, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable.

We retain ownership of our own designs, templates, and production know-how. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.

6. Cancellations and Changes

You may cancel or change an order before you pay the invoice and before artwork is approved for production, at no charge. Once payment is made and production has begun, orders are custom and cannot be cancelled, changed, or returned except where goods are defective. Please see our Return Policy for details.

7. Delivery

We aim to produce and deliver orders within approximately 10–15 working days, and often sooner. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary with order size, customization, and your shipping destination. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. 8. Returns and Refunds

Because our products are custom and made to order, they are generally not returnable except where they are defective or not as agreed. Where a return or refund does apply, it is handled per our Return Policy and Refund Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalpana Tailors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Kalpana Tailors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continued use of the website or placing of orders means you accept the updated Terms.
